New carp fishing record for Slovakia
This year the carp record for Slovakia was broken with a 66lb 2oz (30 kg) specimen by angler Ivan Teplan.
Slovakian anglers approached us using our facebook page (www.facebook.com/worldrecordcarp) to inform us of the new carp fishing record for Slovakia.
Carp angler Ivan Teplan had managed to land the new carp record for Slovakia this summer on June 6th at an undisclosed public water in the west of Slovakia.
New recordholder Teplan captured a massive common carp of 30,01 kg (66lb 2oz), breaking the prior carp record for Slovakia dating from 2014, when Michal Ivan landed a 29,65 kg giant.
Teplan used Mikbait boilies G2 (Salty 24mm single hookbait).
